To set the record straight let's just blame weight gain on Covid-19! Yeah, that monster got us all into lockdown and we found ourselves cooking up a storm. One of the country’s favorite bakes was banana bread and I will never miss mentioning vetkoeks and pancakes. If I were to give it a name, I’ll call it “So you think you can cook?”. Boy! People cooked…the shops ran out of yeast, all-purpose flour, and eggs. Yho! I have never driven around malls looking for yeast and eggs in my life (ROFL). On top of that exercising was limited, we only did home exercises…imagine running around your balcony trying to reach at least 10 000 steps for the day (some people though). The stores were not even permitted to sell some of the sports nutrition and I still don’t get the reason behind it. It's like we were meant to sit down and observe the coronavirus as a nation, yeah, no movement.


But Celebrities like Anele Mdoda proved to us that the element of commitment and self-discipline is the way to go when embarking on a weight loss journey. Did you see her body shape? The reason she’s the talk of the town these days. Those two elements are the foundation to cement your plan foundation if you want to have lasting results. I’m sure you can see that there is no miracle in what she has asserted! There is absolutely nothing new but simple activities and just maintaining her happiness. And I assure you that once you see and feel the love and respect your clothes will give you after you worked on your weight loss goals, you will be hooked forever. Everybody loves freedom after all and the good news is that you have the key to it.
