Must have products!

When embarking on the diet journey, we approach different ways that will contribute to the longer lasting results. Admit it, no one wants the volatile scale figures! We are all looking for permanent or anything closer to that. We want results that are motivating and worthy to influence an individual to a change their lifestyles for good. The journey starts by knowing what factors contribute to your weight gain. You need to be a food -fundi so that you can fight a winning battle and be able to keep up with the taste buds’ temptations.

We are shopping for a good plant-based milk as a substitute to cow’s milk. Why plant based though? because it boasts low calories, high in vitamins, and proteins. There are no hormones involved nor cholesterol. Cow’s milk is good for developing stage (childhood) but beyond the latter stage, it is recommended to switch to low fat or fat free milk as high fat intake can be associated with obesity and chronic illnesses. Amongst the types of plant-based milk there is; Almond, coconut, soya and rice milk. The best recommended substitute is the almond milk. It has the highest calcium in comparison to the range.

Recommended brand

Blue diamond: why Blue diamond? The taste is so natural, and the nutty flavour is so inviting... sort of like an addiction. When mixed with other food the taste still stood up and create unique flavours in the food. It’s so unique and genuine you will never be able to handle the substitute brands. I like the fact that even the nutrition’s are vividly written outside the packaging (A+). Which will assist in making sound decisions when it comes to calorie intake. I always buy the unsweetened as it has just 118 kilo-joules compared to the sweetened which has 200 KJ, and unsweetened vanilla flavoured with `just 138 KJ. It is pricey when compared to the other brands but the benefits are the best.
